Did you know there is a museum underneath the Lincoln Memorial? Neither did we! It's near the elevator on the left side as you face the monument. It's been there since the 80's. We were very surprised as we've been here many times!

Yep...I have pics from underneath the memorial from May of 1986 and see the supports of the structure, but there wasn't a museum that I knew of then. It was pretty cool with some info and such, but nothing like the museum that I've seen pictures of today.
